Xoralia 3.4 release notes

Highlights of this release:

‘Add document’ permissions

A new Xoralia permission that allows for only nominated users to be able to create and upload documents into Xoralia.

By default, creating and uploading documents in Xoralia has been switched off, this is to ensure the user interface is kept as clean as possible for those who do not need to use the functionality. The new approach to  adding documents also allows for more control, by enabling the functionality for all existing documents owners and specific individuals if they are deemed to be suitable as a Document Administrator.

Create documents using a template

Often it is not appropriate for policy documents to be created from scratch, and it is more common for all new policies and/or controlled documents to use a standardised and approved, formatted template.

Xoralia’s new template document library functionality allows for a template library to be synchronised per document library (though the same template library can be associated with more than one library at a time if applicable) and you can create or upload as many templates to use based on your requirements.

The template library is standalone, and the actual templates are not amended by Document Administrators as part of the drafting process. This functionality will ensure all documents comply with company standards and will improve efficiency and time for all Xoralia clients!

Reports per date range

We have added a date range picker for two of our Xoralia reports to improve reporting on compliance data. By including to-and-from dates, that filter by ‘read by date’ for assignments, the metrics able to be pulled from Xoralia to assist a yearly audit is more efficient valuable between a certain time frame.

Xoralia reports with the new functionality are “Document library information breakdown” and the “Compliance per user” report.
